Transfer Boards
Safer independent or assisted transfers.
Transfer boards enable people, with limited strength or balance, to transfer themselves onto a secure surface from a wheelchair.
They give people more independence and safety, especially when a person is fatigued, alone in the house or in an unfamiliar setting. They remove the need for standing up or others lifting which can help to prevent falls.
